This process has been handled very badly. It has created confusion, disappointment and division. After much public complaint the District and County Councils are now calling for a re-run. However local Conservative MP Andrew Tyrie has dithered on making a decision. We recognise this is a divisive issue but there should be a full and transparent discussion, where everyone is able to express a view on all possible options. We must aim for a solution that is good for all of the Chichester area.
